WORLD VISION GHANA PAID A COURTESY CALL ON THE MANAGEMENT AND THE WASH TEAM OF ASUNAFO NORTH MUNIC

he leadership of World Vision Ghana led by the Associate Director WorldVisionGhana, Mr. Robbel Masiuo and the Senior Programs Manager World Vision USA, Mr. Bismark Norgbe paid a courtesy call on the Management and the WASH team of the Asunafo North Municipal Assembly on Monday 17th March, 2025. The Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr Mohammed Alhassan Yakubu in his welcome address expressed appreciation to World Vision Ghana for their commitment in investing huge resources in the water sector in the Municipality. He assured them of the Assembly's constant support in providing enabling environment before and after projects implementation. This visit was to strengthen the partnership ties that exist between the Assembly and World Vision and also monitor the progress of water projects been undertaken in the Municipality. The World Vision Ghana since the implementation of the WASH master plan is committed to ensuring that, every community within the Municipality get access to safely manage water by the year 2030. The engagement was also highlighted the challenges, potentials and the way forward to ensure project sustainability. On Tuesday 18th March, 2025, the WASH and World Vision Teams, embarked on a field visit to Asumura Health Center, Asumura Township and Asumura- Nyamebekyere which are all intervention communities by World Vision for monitoring and evaluation of the water systems.The management of the health facility and the chiefs and elders of the two communities were full of praise for World Vision Ghana and the Asunafo North Municipal Assembly for the intervention.
