Ahafo RCC and Asunafo North Municipal Assembly Observe National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving

Tuesday, July 1, 2025, marked a significant day in Ghana's calendar as the nation came together to observe the inaugural National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving. The Ahafo Regional Coordinating Council, in collaboration with the Asunafo North Municipal Assembly, joined the rest of the country in celebrating this momentous occasion.


Several key stakeholders were in attendance, including Hon. Mrs. Charity Gardener, Regional Minister for Ahafo, who outlined the President's intentions for the day to the congregants and encouraged the public to observe it with reverence. Other notable attendees included Apostle Samuel Otu-Appiah, Hon. Joseph Akparibo, Municipal Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Sampson Amoako Kwarteng, Chief Director of the Ahafo Regional Coordinating Council, Mr. Jacob Adade Ntiamoah, Regional Planning and Coordinating Officer, and Mr. Alhassan Yakubu Mohammed, Coordinating Director of the Asunafo North Municipal Assembly.


The theme for this year's celebration was "Reset, Reflect, and Renew for National Prosperity." The National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving aimed to foster spiritual renewal and national unity, bringing Ghanaians together regardless of their political affiliation, ethnicity, or religious background.


The event served as a platform for Ghanaians to come together in prayer and thanksgiving, seeking spiritual renewal and national unity. It was a day of reflection, gratitude, and renewed commitment to national prosperity.
